Motherwell FC Supporters' Trust

The Annual General Meeting of the Trust will take place on Wednesday, 14th October at 7.30pm in the Cooper Suite, Fir Park. 

Since the last AGM the Trust has continued through its members to support the Football Club in a number of ways.  Specifically, £7,000 has been given to improve facilities for disabled supporters at Fir Park and nearly £2,000 has been spent on kit bags for all teams at Fir Park.  In addition, during the season past the Trust provided sponsorship for the Motherwell under 17s quarter final tie against Rangers at Fir Park.  As well as supporting the Club the Trust has also led the fund raising efforts for the Phil O'Donnell memorial an update on which will be given at the AGM.

Motherwell F.C.  Chairman John Boyle has acknowledged the contribution that the Trust has made over the years.  “The Trust is an ideal way for supporters to make a direct contribution to their Club and this is appreciated by me and other members of the Board.  Since its establishment the Trust has made a number of donations to the Club and the most recent contribution for improvements in the disabled area of the ground is greatly appreciated.  I have been happy to acknowledge these contributions by the transfer of shares to the Trust and I would hope to continue this in the future.  In this way supporters can have a direct stake in their Club.”

Trust Subscriptions

Member subscriptions for the year 2009/10 are now due and members are requested to submit the annual subscription of £10. Payment can be made at the AGM on 14th October or online.

Since the resignation of some Board members last year the Board has been unable to replace them.  We need enthusiastic members to help with the development and running of the Trust and to make sure we can achieve our objectives.  If you are interested in becoming a member of the Trust Board please contact me to request a nomination form by phone on 07786 314147, quoting your name and Trust membership number or by e-mail to sandra@welltrust.net.
