Our ebay auction of Aberdeen, Dundee United, Falkirk, Kilmarnock, Hearts, Hibs and Sheffield Wednesday signed strips brought in over £500, thanks for your contribution. Strips will be sent out early next week.

The dinner will be chaired by Tam Cowan and will also feature two special guest speakers. In addition the evening will include a prize raffle and the opportunity to bid on a fantastic selection of sporting memorabilia in the auction.

A spokesperson for the Motherwell Supporters Trust said: “Since Phil's death fans have been involved in a series of events to raise funds and following this dinner we expect to commission a suitable memorial. “We hope very much that you will be able to join us for what we expect to be a very enjoyable and entertaining evening.  However if you are unable to attend you can make a donation to the memorial fund through the Trust website.”

Tickets for the event are £40 each, £400 for a table of ten, with dinner included in the price.
