Successful return for Trust’s Quiz Night |

Friday night saw the Motherwell Supporters Trust’s first event of the New Year and the return of the popular Quiz Night. Fir Park’s Centenary Suite was filled with more than a hundred hearty souls who braved a chilly January night. The ‘Still Game’ team will be delighted that they made the effort as they went on to win the main quiz following eight rounds of testing teasers.
One of the main highlights of the night was a highly successful raffle draw which saw significant numbers shelling out for the chance to win a Well Society membership as the prize. The lucky winner, Roselyn Cassidy from Motherwell, is a season ticket holder in the East Stand and was delighted to be among the first wave of fans who have signed up to the club’s new ownership model.
Trust chairman David Crichton was delighted with yet another successful Trust event and passed on his thanks to all who played a part. He said, “I was pleased to see such an encouraging turnout and can report that Trust funds have benefited by almost £500. Our main sponsor, Timetra, is due a huge vote of thanks as are the individuals who sponsored each round.” |

Trust Quiz Night set to return |
|
The ever popular Motherwell Supporters Trust Quiz Night makes a welcome return in 2012. Friday 27th January is the key date for your diary as we take over Fir Park’s Centenary Suite for what promises to a memorable evening in the company of fellow ‘Well fans.
As ever we'll have rounds covering off the best in sport, music and television together with a few questions on the Mighty 'Well. Keith Brown has produced a number of flyer rounds where winners will stand to bag a spot prize. Dougie Arnott will be on hand to offer you a drink from the 'Well stocked bar from 7.30pm.
Trust Chairman David Crichton said, "The Trust has organised many Quiz Nights over the years and they always provide a great attraction for Motherwell supporters who bring along friends and family for an enjoyable evening. We are indebted to Keith Brown once again for acting as quizmaster and look forward to his teasers.”
